I've been trying to get this point across to some of my friends(keyword being "trying") and my younger sister. I saw a piece of flair on facebook that goes w/ this..it said, "Dance with God…He’ll let the right man cut in." Just put your trust in Him--it worked for me! I wasn't even "looking" when I met David. School consumed my life, and guys were far from my mind(I was, and still am, focused on my future career). I felt that God, when the time was right,would show me when He wanted me to pursue a relationship...and He did! And the wait was WELL worth it! I feel so blessed! I think everything happens for a reason...it's all apart of His plan. I believe that we should first establish a solid relationship w/ Him before starting a relationship w/ a guy(I think you might've said that in another blog...or maybe I read it somewhere else--who knows haha). Like you said, it's sad. It's like virginity, innocence, purity, values, etc aren't truly valued in our society. It's apparently too "boring." Well, I'm happy w/ my so-called "boring" life. haha I recently bought a book for my sister(ended up reading it myself lol) entitled "Every Young Woman's Battle: Guarding Your Mind, Heart, and Body in a Sex-Saturated World." It's a really good book, and it does a good job covering most issues young women face in relationships. Anyway, I'm gonna shut up now...lol I've procrastinated enough(I've got 2 papers due today...and they aren't finished lol) --Courtney Christy, I couldn’t agree w/ you more. Like you said, it’s sad.
